Chaos

The most complete and professional style mp3 search engine. It has the biggest index which is being updated 14 hours a day. Very neat and clear presentation that also distinguish leech from ratio sites. It also has the option not to show ratio sites at all.

Query: Multi word. Words separated with spaces. The engine looks for file names that contain all the words you have entered.

mirc-X

Good search engine. Now is even better because it returns and www sites. If you get a song in web, it is almost sure that you will get it without any dificulty. It's index is also updated often.

Query: Single word. Don't type more than one word because the engine will look for files containing the spaces too.

Box SK

One of the oldest mp3 search engines. Not many entries but the index is updated daily. It returns results from www sites too, but right now there are not many pages indexed.

Query: Single word search. Don't type more than one word because the engine will look for files containing the spaces too.

FTP Search

This in not an mp3 search engine, but the fastest and most complete FTP search engine.
The bad thing is that it does not have many mp3 files indexed, but
the good thing is that, if you find the mp3 you want, 9 out of 10 times you will get it.
That's because the mp3s it returns are located to non mp3 sites, that are not busy. Just click on the file name (not the path) and you will download it from your browser. Don't use an FTP client (some times you won't be able to access the song via FTP), unless you get an error message from your browser.

Query: Multi word. Words must be separated by an asterisk (*), not by spaces. i.e For "The unforgiven" by "Metallica" type "metallica*unforgiven". It is better to enter just the name of the band you like and it will return in 0.00..1 seconds you will get all the Metallica mp3s from it's index.

Kermit

New and fresh search engine. It's layout is not impresive but it gives you many many resaults. It searches only FTP sites and there for has the pros and cons of any FTP search.

Query: Multi word. Words must be seperated by spaces.

Zabnet

New search engine, with proffesionall look. It's layout is designed in Dynamic HTML and it is one of the best. It returnes many results and has some convinient features like showing ratio sites.

Query: Multi word. Words must be seperated by spaces.

mp3Site.com

Simple search engine but with good resaults. I have a suspision that it is the same with the borg search engine.

Query: Single word.

Borg

Nice engine with medium size index which is updated daily.

Query: Single word search. If you type more words it searches only for the first one.

Omni

Good mp3 search engine with medium size index. I am not sure how often it is updated, but when I tried some of the servers that the engine returned me, some of them were down. Anyway, this justified, because the authors are busy right now making a new improved version of the engine.

Query: Single word search for the time being. The new version will be able to search for multi word queries.

HL Search

The second best after chaos. Large index that is updated every one or two days. Much information about the servers, but no info about ratios.

Query: Multi word. Words separated with spaces. The engine looks for all of them.

MP3 Search

Good engine with medium size index and useful information about the servers (like if there is a ratio or not). The only objection I have, is that among the results are sites updated more than a month ago.

Query: Multi word. Words separated with spaces. The engine looks for all the words (logical AND).

MP3 Search.net

This engine is not yet finished. The pages are ready but the author looks for a crawler.

Query:

Yosh

The second biggest mp3 search engine. Returns a bit less results than chaos. Also updated often.

Query: Multi word with words separated with spaces. The engine looks for file names that contain all the words you have entered. From the engine you can search for any of the words (Logical OR search).

Filez

Filez is not an mp3 search engine also. Even from the power search it hadn't returned me anything interesting yet. To be honest I have it here only because it is in all the other interfaces. From this interface it will not work because, I made a mistake and used the simple search. I will fix it soon.

Query: My script has a bag. Go to the home page of Filez and the use the power search, but don't expect much.

Hybrid Search

There is a message that his engine is under construction. It might be working by the time you are viewing this page.
